Immunity Boosting Tips

One of the first things I purchased when the Corona Virus hit was vitamin C. Feeling a bit helpless, I figured the least I could do if I ever came face to face with the dreaded C19 was to build up my armor against it. That was back in mid-March, well before we started to see just how powerful and deadly this virus would become. Still, I feel that in addition to mass social distancing, face coverings, and sanitizing like crazy, creating my own natural force shield couldn't be a bad idea.

Our mothers and mother's mothers have all instilled upon us that oranges and other citrus fruits pack a heavy vitamin C punch. And they do!! According to WebMD these are foods that are rich in vitamin C: broccoli, cantaloupe, cauliflower, kale, kiwi, orange juice, papaya, red, green or yellow pepper, sweet potato, strawberries, and tomatoes. There also some great supplements and combination daily vitamins that can give you your recommended dosage. We just like to get the natural source when we can!
